Damn snow!

The weekend was pretty rainy and cold (yuck). In some ways it was nice (ie: we could hang out together indoors and not feel guilty) but we also missed out on playing outside (the boys) and getting the yard ready for summer (A and I). OK, I can handle cold and rainy but this morning there was:

See the white line along the fence?? Blah! I had to include the orchids on our windowsill because, otherwise, it would be too depressing ;)

Keeping it simple

Wish I could! Do you ever get the urge to just focus on the basics? Keep things stream lined? Keep them simple? Man! I wish..... I'll let you know how it goes ;) PS: We managed to not owe anything for our taxes! Whew!

A recent summary

I keep meaning to come back here to write but time seems to fly ;)

In a nutshell: I applied for another job, felt good about this potential job, went for a very luke-warm presentation, felt like I did not get job, then officially did not get job. Boo! Felt like crap, felt stressed out, felt a bit better, weather became warmer, felt even better.

So, now I am here: O turns 2 next month. A and I have both applied for other jobs (at the same place). I am still waiting to hear about funding.... You know- same old, same old....

It would almost make everyone want to be a scientist.....NOT ;)
