I saw a shirt from Duns that would be perfect for summertime (yes, that is on my mind a lot these days). I was told from Duns that it was made in adult sizes exclusively for 2 stores: 1 in Germany and 1 in Luxemborg. Anyway, I contacted the German store and asked if there was a way to order the shirt and pay for it by either paypal or credit card (there were instructions for a bank transfer but Canada is severely behind the times when it comes to international bank transfers!). Anyway, she did not have paypal and did not use credit cards :( but she responded with an option to "trade" something. Yes, trade! She would ship the shirt to me and I would ship something back to her. How cool! Such a personal way to "purchase" something and, wow, trust involved! She requested something Harry Potter for her 9 year old daughter so, yesterday, I picked up a movie sticker book and 2 small activity kits which contain a small HP-related trinket and more stickers.
I am so excited about this. What a return back to the barter-days! I'll let you know how it goes!
